in restaurant, pizzeria, gay village, casual, <$20
Disclaimer: This meal was comped.
We're already fans of the original F+F Pizza in St-Henri and consider it a solid takeout/delivery option. Tonight we got to eat in at the new location in The Village, as we were invited to the soft launch.

In contrast to the St-Henri location, which is on the rugged and grungy side, the decor here is more sleek and clean. For the occasion, the dining area was filled with owner Simon Gervais' friends and family, with the exception of us two. After tonight, however, hopefully we are considered one or the other :).
We've already talked about the focus on quality ingredients at F+F Pizza in our previous review. However, as far as we're concerned, THIS is why you come here: good pizza, specialty hot sauces (see picture above) and Carlsberg beer! And if you were more of a pizza with soda person, you'll be glad to know they serve those in tall glass bottles (+1).
"Angus beef, fresh tomatoes, mushrooms, onions, red peppers, brie cheese, mozzarella"
F+F Veggie Pizza
"Sundried tomatoes, red onions, green olives, capers, ricotta, mozzarella, parmesan"
"Fresh tomato sauce, white wine, onions, gruyere, mozzarella, parmesan, chives, ground pepper"
tagged it'll burn twice!
F+F Pizza is a nice addition to the burgeoning Village dining scene. It's a great neighborhood restaurant that locals will certainly enjoy. We wish Simon the best of luck with his new venture.
